Crews are building retaining walls near the Santa Ana River Trail to make room for the new westbound 91 -lane. Using GPS-guided blades, bulldozers are moving & compacting earth. Cranes are driving piles to stabilize the new walls. Crews are placing pipes, rebar, and other material below ground for future walls. When completed, the new westbound 91 -lane will improve traffic flow in this heavily traveled area.
