FALCON Engineering Services (FALCON) provided full construction management to San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) on the I-10/Citrus Interchange and Grade Separation Project. This project included replacing existing Overcrossing (OC) bridge over I-10 freeway and widening the existing bridge over Union Pacific Railroad, construction of new ramps, addition of a looping on-ramp, realignment and widening existing ramps, realignment of existing channel with 1600lf of underground structure, construction of standard and Mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining walls, sound walls, and arterial street widening. The project also included utility relocations, flood control improvements, traffic and signal, and ramp metering, grading, drainage modifications, signing and striping, traffic handling, and replacement planting. Because of the magnitude of this project, funding for the I-10/Citrus Avenue Interchange Reconstruction came from several sources.
